Helping Mohanad and his family evacuate Gaza

Hi, my name is Marcus and I want to tell you about my friend, Mohanad. Mohanad is a 20 year-old college student from Gaza, who was studying Graphic Design and Multimedia abroad in Turkiye pryor to October 2023. Following the events of October 7, 2023, Mohanad returned to Gaza to be with his family and loved ones. Since then, Mohanad and his family have experienced hell on earth. Following the brutal assault on Gaza, Mohanad’s house was completely destroyed and he has lost everything. Not only have he and his family lost their home, but he has even lost family members and friends. He and his family have been displaced numerous times and have had very limited access to basic human necessities with the blocking of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Though Gaza will forever be home to Mohanad and his family, they have made the difficult decision to evacuate from Gaza. They plan to evacuate via the Rafah Crossing into Egypt. However, this will not be easy. It can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $8,000 to enter Egypt via the crossing. Mohanad has set out a target goal of $10,000. Please know that any donation, no matter the amount, helps tremendously. The main goal is to raise money for him and his family evacuate, but your donations also help them gain access to basic human neccessities that many of us take for granted.
